they say twins identical twins are connected soul deep. two different bodies born within the same womb. nothing could ever be closer. cassius and eden jeon. born on a warm day in june at a hospital in seoul, south korea. one was weary of his new world, choosing to remain quiet and peaceful. the other boisterous and active. identical down to the birthmark on their upper right thigh; a series of small, dark spots that littered their pale skin.⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ //

since the beginning, the two twins were completely inseparable. cassius always followed eden around, choosing only to stick with his older brother. as they grew from babies to toddlers their obsession with each other never wavered. their parents worried for them so they took them to a behavioural psychologist where the twins showed their true cunning spirits. they managed to convince the psychologists that they were fine.⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ //

at the age of seven, their mother was involved in a car accident. the drunk driver killed her on impact leaving the two boys alone with their father. their father wasn't a bad man, he definitely tried his hardest to keep his sons fed and clothed. he, however, did not anticipate the lasting effects their mother's death would have on the boys. eden, the more reserved twin become adventurous and angry whilst cassius secluded himself and hid his feelings deep inside him. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ //

cassius became heavily interested in religion. he went with his father to church every sunday. (his father was an american born korean whom moved to korea. he grew up and taught the children catholicism as he was taught). he become more and more connected to his catholic faith, even going so far as to become an altar boy at their local church. he carried a latin bible with him every where he went, something that got him made fun of very quickly in middle school, where most students were agnostic. ⠀ //

as his depression grew, cassius grew more and more reclusive, his love for his religion not helping when it came to dealing with his feelings. he began to realize in high school that god wasn't any help to him when his brother eden became more and more popular while cassius was the outcast. to cassius, eden was an attention-seeker, always needing to be in the spotlight. there were moments when cassius believed that his brother was the root cause for all the rumors spreading about him.⠀ ⠀ ⠀//

a deep set hatred began to form in cassius' soul for his twin brother though on the outside he never showed it. even when eden started dating the girl that cassius had a crush on, he never showed how dark and twisted his mind turned. cassius became determined to get rid of his brother and became the popular one, the one with recognition. delving into satanist wasn't something he expected to do but it was there he found the ultimate way to rid his life of his twin brother.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀//

satanism held the key. sacrifice. cassius could sacrifice eden to satan himself and with that he would achieve both of his goals: freedom and power. cassius planned in secret, his reclusiveness becoming more and more obvious. the only times anyone ever say the younger twin was in classes, never in the hallways or lunchroom. the twins eventually graduated from high school, both the top of their classes with eden number one and cassius number two. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀//

choosing the summer after high school was the perfect moment to get rid of eden as he was planning to go overseas for school. cassius lured his brother to a secluded hidden spot where he knocked the male out and dragged him to the sacrificial altar. cassius prepared everything to ensure that nothing went wrong with the ritual not anticipating his brother waking up and discovering his secret plan. there was no backing out once cassius saw eden looking directly at him. ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ //

the twin brothers, whom were born from the same womb, inseparable since birth fought for the first time in their lives. eden sensing he was in danger, attacked cassius, pushing him to the ground where he screamed and cried as he pounded the life out of his younger brother's face. for a moment, cassius believed he was dead until he felt the cool metal hilt of the dagger attached to his side. with the little strength he had he took the knife and plunged it directly into his brother's chest. //

cassius piled his brother's body into his car and drove the car into a tree, diving out of it before he could get injured. after the car impacted the tree, he set the entire thing on fire, stepping back to watch the car explode, his brother eden no more. when police came to the jeon household and announced the death of the jeon son, they announced that it was cassius jeon whom died in the explosion. the younger twin whom sat right next to his father, feigning tears for a lost loved one.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ //
